A little further along now the mini is about finished, just need to do a few minor details like another highlight stage to the hair and a couple of little areas that need painting what you can see now is the damage to the foot which I need to hide, that shouldn't be too hard with what I am planning to do with the base. Hope you like it so far.

Well she is now complete and here she is, I highlighted a couple of places again but the dullcoat stage has washed them out a bit but never mind I like the finished effect and I think the base compliments her well, I hope you like her too, I am now going to start another Ilyad Games mini, Desdemone.

Extremely nice, have you ever entered GD? I'm sure you could win gold in one category or another. On the subject of your WIP's? Have you started the minis from HoTBP yet? I don't mean to pressure you to hurry up (but...hurry!!! , but I would at least like to know how long it will take.

Thanks for the feeback, mminiatures I have not started the minis yet I have taken out the leader of the group and began to prep him, I would say that you may want to think about putting foam inserts in your packaging as a few of the minis are damaged, the postal service is not gentle with our toys and I feel that a little foam would protect them more. I can repair the damage but it would be a good idea to gve them a little more protection. As for how long I will endeavour to get them done asap but I have to paint around my job and also other projects but I will try to get something up for you within the next few days.

Thanks Tim I look forwards to seeing them.
It probably seems like an odd question, but which parts of the minis broke? Did the sprue fall apart, did the sword snap? This will help me to strengthen weak areas in future minis.

There were no physically broken parts but just some very badly bent parts the swords and the bows seemed to be particularly badly affected, carefull straightening has sorted them out but I was afraid that I might end up snapping them, the blisters were particularly beaten up and unfortunately with nothing to cushion the minis they took the full force of the post office's mistreatment.

I'll get some sheets of foam and maybe it'll help (where in hell do you get something like that? Maybe staples)

I didn't notice this thread until now.....
Superb work on the wolf dude. The skin is so well blended, looks so good.
I love your ork, as I do with all of your orks. If GW don't hire you to paint the new orks when their dex come out, GW should be ashamed of themselves......
I also like that psycho mohawk headchopper chic, but she looks like she's freezing though ;D

Thanks everyone for the comments, well I thought it about time that I went back to somethng I started a good while ago. This Ork has been pushed to the back of the to do cupboard for quite a while now and so I thought I would make a start at getting him finished so he can join his comrades in the display cabinet. I have yet to weather the metal parts on the boots but I am quite pleased with the axes so far, still need to do a little weathering on the gold parts but all in all he is taking shape nicely.
