Well I tohught it about time that I put something in here, I have a couple of things on the go and I also started another mini today. I will post the current works and then tomorrow when I can get a decent pic I'll post a couple of others as well. this is the resting wizard by e-bob one of only 20 ever cast, sadly this is not mine but I am having the pleasure of painting it for a frien on the One-Ring site. the second is another ork for a wrband that I am putting together, this is going rather slowly at the moment as I am finding it hard to get the inspiration to paint him. I will post the latest WIP's tomorrow,

As promised here are a couple of my latest works, the first is Varghar, the Wolfen. I wanted to do something different than the usual grey skintone that you normally see so I went for the brown, some of the blendings still need smoothing out but it is progressing quite well, the axe head was broken off in the blister but that is easily repaired and I have left it off for now to make it easier to paint, The next one is giving me a real headache, I have tried several times to get a skintone that I like whilst again staying away from the more usual skintone and I have finally found one that I like though there is plenty of time yet for it to go horribly wrong. Hope you like them so far.

Wolfen looks fantastic, i've recently finished my first and understand the difficulties in painting these,, personally i would not build so much of the figure at once now, 1st time i built it all and then tried to paint it!! I will now do the base , add the legs, paint, add the torso, paint, etc funny that, Varghar is my next Wolfen.. i'm going to try a black/blue shade with a dark black/blue mane?? just have to wait and see pps the skintones look meganatural on screen, to be WoW factor for those that can't comprehend the real deal you'll have to up the highlights at least 3 degrees

A quick update of the Wolfen, the pics are a bit rushed but you can see the mouth has been done and also the other leg is nearly done.

That Wolfen looks really good. I started this mini and bailed about a quarter of the way through it. Good luck with it.

Well, you already know which will be my favorite. ;D And that is a very different skintone for a Dragyri. Love it. Looking forward to seeing it progress.

Wow! That is a great bunch of WIP's! Gandalf looks great, I love his skin, and the cloack has just the right colour. I like the orc aswell, great metal as always. I am not crazy about the skin around the jaw area, as i think you could paint over a bit more of the dark green, if you understand what I mean. The wolfen is absolutely amazing, the skin tone is so great and well blended, looking foreward to the result of this! The last model is very good to, , although I would have gone a tad darker, this is really great. How about some wounds? Take care, hope you find my point of view to be of any worth Torstein ;D

They all look great. How do you think that poor khandish cheiftan feels sitting all alone on your desk with nobody to paint him.
