These minis are sweet, I would realy like to know who makes them, if it were me I would add a little more to the gold areas, mix a touch of silver into the gold and hit the edges at their sharp points (not sure of a better way to describe what I mean), that would make the gold pop a bit more. But other than that this is a lovely paint job mate.

They are called Vale archers and are for the game Warlord by Reaper. I did some work on number 2 as well. Her she is:

Jabber, you have a really cool style. Reminds me of the old Eavy Metal painting style. Old Skool ;D I especially like nr 2, and the green blendings are just great. And all the faces look really awesome too. I admire every painter that has a mini with a great painted face, because I just can't paint faces

It looks great mate, maybe a few white spots on the hair to givethe impression of shine but nothing else I can suggest to improve the mini.

Wondeful job, mate!
The green is very well blended, the bow string on the right place and an outstanding face.
Cheers,
Razh

I like them and the scenario too,i'm not used to this kind of elves so at first glance i was a little sceptic but you've done a good painting job on them! so this is the cause of the presence of painted miniatures on minis companies sites... ;D

Here is the 3rd of the Vale archers I have been working on. Lots left to do, but I have gotten most of the colors down. Most of the mini needs more highlighting and smoothing of transitions, but what do you think of the hair and face? Those are the only two parts anywhere near completion. The stance of the mini is very unnatural, so it was tough to get a good pic of the face. EDIT: Here is the second of the LOtR Moria goblins I have started on as well.

I think she's a beauty. The face/eyes look awesome. The green look good, but I like them a little darker, but that's just my opinion. I like pretty much everything dark lol But this is just a wip, so she'll look even better when she's finished. ;D

I think you've done a great job on how the face would look with zenithal lighting (which seems to be the in thing and something i always tend toward) but this would implicate severe highlights at the top of the figure, so no change required except a fine highlight over the crown of the skull...

Here is the Reaper CAV Ghast I have started on--very preliminary as you can see. My 6 year old son is in charge of the paint scheme on this one.

Here is the next mini on a deadline. This one is another CAV from the Reaper line. This one is for an exchange, so the coloring is going to try and match the existing color scheme of his army. I thought I was done highlighting all those tiny edges, but the camera has shown me the error of my ways...once I am satisfied with that, I'll be doing some weathering and battle damage.
