Spot on work as always. My only suggestion would be for a bit of weathering here and there.

Well another day another project. I have been threatening to paint Lotr again for ages and when I got the plastic Dwarf Rangers from Red Corsairs the other day I thought bugger it I am going to paint a few of these. So here are the WIP shots of the work so far. The last too shots were shot in poor light so they are not true representations of the actual mini but close enough to go online. I am having alot of fun with these I will work my usual way though and paint them one at a time until each one is done.

Yay got some time to paint over at James's today and this is how far I have come along with the Dwarf. I am really liking this and it just shows how much you can change the look of an ordinary plastic mini.

Looks cool mate, shame your camera doesn't capture it's true life stunning highlights. I do tend to say this about all your minis they do really look sooooo much better in real life. After seeing you work on this one today, it's really obvious how much does get lost in the transition to 'net photo.

You really have an excellent eye for color... just the way that you always seem to use just the right variety in just the right bright way...
The skellie and the dwarf are coming along very nicely Tim.

Thanks all, update time again not the best pics I'm afraid I will try to get better ones next time. I really must by a new camera as this one is starting to show its age now. I am going to do the outside of the cloak a drab green to better fit it in with the ranger theme. Hope you like him. Oh and Andre no more painting schools as I really don't have the time for them these days.

Cheers guys, here is the next one to be painted this is the worst of the sculpts so far. In fact I would go as far as to say these are worse than some of the plastics that GW first produced, still hopefully with some careful painting I can overcome the crap that is there product. So here goes, The pictures are not really showing this in its true likeness as it looks better in real life. However even so i am not totally satisfied with the skin yet. I am going to leave it alone for now and then readjust it (if it still needs it then) when all the rest is done.

Here is another update, the tunic is done and the lowe r part of the undershirt too, I differed on the colouring of the tunic for this one and I think it works well. I'll get the sleeves done next before moving onto the inner side of the cloak.
