Thank you very much Tim You'll be glad to know I have a better picture this time  Anyway, last night was spent on basically painting a little of the helmet up and making some little adjustments to the hair, fave and Scalemail. The hair didn't turn out as I expected it so I might adjust it again at a later date. Here is a picture at the back of him so you can see the newly painted section of the helmet (just the hair of it): Comment and Criticism welcome. Thanks, Jake.

I think the hair looks fine mate and I wouldn't mess with it any more. One thing yo might consider if you have a very fine brush something like a 4/0 then you might want to consider very carefully painting dark lining around the the scale plates on the scale mail, you will need to keep the paint very thing, if you are confident enough you could do it with black ink or the new black wash but you need to make sure that you haven't got too much on your brush otherwise it will just flood the whole area. I think though that with a little care you should be able to manage it very well.

looking real good there Red! second what Tim pointed out, I call it pin-whashes. just a little wash where u want it and not all over. I've used the new GW-whashes and they work really well for that kind of work... keep up the good work.

Well last night was a long night of painting in order to get Eomer done for today and at 2:30am I finally finished him. I know some people dislike the base for obvious reasons but I'm not going to change it  Here he is: Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks, Jake.

I think he looks good, I still think the rock is a little too tall but otherwise nice model, you might think about another highlight on the rock as it looks a bit flat at the moment, a very light drybrush of black with some shadow grey in it would work well I think.

Nice convo's on the Corsairs mate and the Moth Of Sauron looks good too. I would just advise straightening out bent weapons though before you paint them I use a pair of flat pliers for that, the ones that don't have any serrations on the inner face, this then allows you to straighten bent parts without damaging the surface detail of the mini.

Good spot Tim. The MoS looks great, really like the metals, and the highlights on the black are great. Very difficult not to make it look grey but you have pulled it off really well.
Like the corsairs too, not sure of the stock poses but they look nice and dymniac

Thanks. For the Warrior of the Dead I gave him a Dark Green Ink Wash over a Skull White basecoat. I then drybrushed over that firstly with a 1:1 Mix of Skull White and Dark Green Ink and for each additional highlight after that adding more skull white to the mix untill eventually drybrushing pure Skull White very gently over. That's the brief way of putting it There is also a guide HERE if you are interested on One Ring.
