Yes!
Since the failure of the "host of the blood prince" minis I've been working on my sculpting a lot, taking criticism, ect. and the archer I showed recently has gotten almost completely good feedback on all the sites I've put it on, which is a first. So he will be cast, as will this one and the next one, for a pack of three. Then I want to do some more troops and eventually a full line of late Byzantines.

Almost finished, just a few more things to add: This sculpt has taken me WAY too long. I've redone most of the parts many, many times. I like how its shaping up, though. I've also finished quite a few pieces for a private commission, and am working on some late Roman Legionaries for Art of War Miniatures. I've also made a few changes to the other Byzantine archer-

I must say the scale on your minis has gotten a million times better than when you first started doing this and the armour details are brilliant . . . . but one thing that just looks odd is the faces on the top picture ,more so on the 1st guy he just has a very odd look on his face ? Fair point about the face, thanks. I reworked it along with some other details, now its finished:

Hi everyone its been a while since I posted in this thread because as usual I have not had as much time to sculpt as I would like. Since the last fig I posted I've sculpted two other archers about half way before realizing the pose I was going for was pretty much uncastable and that the minis had other small problems that made continuing pointless. I've also just finished a four figure commission that has been eating up a lot of my sculpting time. Now that its done I'm surprised with how fast this archer is going: Once this one is done I'll at last move onto Byzantine spearmen.

Here's what I've been working on. I've been very busy as usual but today i had some time to do some sculpting: I'm trying to make each infantry a bit more interesting than the average rank and file figure that most historical companies provide, so i thought id try an out of shape, older archer. I want these guys to look like they're really just peasants and regular people forced into defending Constantinople, not elite soldiers, which for the most part they weren't.

Another fine piece--and I like the fact you are addressing the "everyday" soldier.
