It looks really good. I like his pose, and especially the use of the rock. The cloth areas looks great, and looks like a fun mini to paint. Awesome work!

Heres number two: Should look a more actiony when the limbs are fleshed out. He's looking a bit thin, I shall have to work on that. Shouldn't be much of a problem. EDIT-I fixed up the thickness and it looks fine now. Good thing I took the photo so I notice the issue now not when its too late.

This fella looks awesome. The cloak is just great. Superb sculpting aha-what you mistake for a cloak is actually an overcoat, possibly the hardest thing to sculpt ever, next to armor which I have to get practicing if I'm to do those knights I've been imagining...

Well, the above sculpt went bad because of an armature flaw which I have corrected and should never trouble me again. There was no wire sunk into the cork to anchor it, so the ankles became more and more stressed until they eventually snapped. I tried to fix it for a while but eventually I decided it was a lost cause and my time would be better spent starting again. Heres the next go, the new armature is working well and I think he should be completed soon without problems. Also a WIP of a commission I have been doing. The neck and torso need to be filled out quite a bit and the shoulders, ears and tail added. Its slightly larger than a 28mm horse.

Now that's really great. Upper body/stomach looks too tall though, and arms need to get a little longer. Also the knees should still be moved up slightly. Then you'll get perfect proportions On top of that I'd also like to see some small details: bottles, pouches etc. to add some personality.

Then you'll get perfect proportions Thanks for the reply, its very helpful for me when this sort of thing is pointed out as I can't always tell whats wrong after staring at him for 12 hours! My armatures have gone through some revisions lately and I think they're damn near good. Where I inevitably get confused is the upper body and arms. The arms get odd because I have to clip them to add separate hands which usually makes them the wrong length. The head gets everything mixed up when it falls off and is added again and again and again. After adding it and removing it so many times I'm never sure where it should really be. I've thought about it and I think the best thing to do is spend a day or two making a handful of good armatures with built in, measured hands and heads all secured thoroughly. Then the skeleton should work. I finished the dog and it should be posted up soon

Looking good, I like the dog but I think the neck a little long IMO makes it look slightly out of proportion.

He is 'done', though I'm rather on the fence about keeping him for casting or not. The torso looks a bit long to me, but let me know what you think. It would be a shame to lose him but even worse to have a bad mini cast.

I think he does look a bit long, I still think it is a very good sculpt though it would be a shame not to have it cast to see what it would look like painted.

Looks fine to me, I reckon you should keep him! Once he's casted and painted I think this'll look great!

ah, yes, the hat is something of an issue. Its historically accurate as he is another Albanian of the 15thC, but it makes it totally unappealing to anyone not using them for this specific period. I really like the idea of an Eastern European line which no one has really tried before (excepting OG's rather weak and incomplete offering) and until I become established as ebob is, my only real option is selling things that no one has done yet. I'll have to do some more thinking on this, but serbs might be a better choice.
This guy is for the record being put aside. He just isn't quite there.
