It looks very good, the only thing that looks a bit off are the highlights on shoulder area of the cloak, they might use a bit more blending.

Looking great mate. I think black is a great way to go, will definitely help his head to stand out from the rest of the piece.

thanks buddies sorry MIL I thought I had posted my skin recipe, must have been somewhere else. here it is anyway: I started with a basecoat of equal parts dark flesh mixed with bestial brown and just a little codex grey. After this I started to add Elf flesh for each highlight stage ( also under the hghlighting I added a little of Fortress grey, two or three times). I did this till I almost had pure elf flesh, though it had a bit browner tone. then I mixed bleached bone to the mix one or two times and last I added some skull white. the final thing I did was to give it a glaze of dwarf flesh.

Looking good mate, is this nmm on the sword blade it is hard to tell which is not bad if it is. What is up with the top of his hood is it the picuture or have you done something with the colouring?

thanks mate it is not NMM, I'm not brave enough for that just yet. I feel the sword look a bit strange actually, how shall i improve it? Its just the light from one of the lamps reflecting in the hood I guess. thanks Andre

Ithink youneed to consentrate the silvery higlights more along the adges of the blade and blend them in. Then dilute black so that there is almost no color in the water and paint it in in the areas where there would be more shadow highlight and repeat till you have got something with shades and highlights in the correct places, like NMM but with mettalics. Also I would advise you to do something wiht the tree stump. Like shade it with a bluey grey or glaze/wash it with brown then LIGHTLY drybrush the upper part, the problem with it atm is that it doesent look like very much work has gone into it and it lowers the quality of the piece. I might also suggest that you repaint the treestump to a blackish colour to contrast with the snow.

This is looking really good. Although grenstuffguys comments are fair I think the tree stump works for me.

Looks awesome mate, as for the Bracelet I would go with green to match the cloak or black. Gold could work but looking at the sculpt I would say that it is a leather item and not metal at all.
