Don't worry Bru - I weigh all my parcels and consult the Royal Mail website price charts so it won't be some balllpark figure! Its probably nearer 3.50, but that is signed for and includes some insurance,(£34 I think it is) £5 is there just to cover my arse in case I'm wrong! It is fairly heavy, about 300g in a ice cream tub without protective packaging. ***EDIT** Just reread the quote Bru - doh. My old dog eyes must be wearing out! I'll get that ammended -- thanks mate!! Its on CMON now if anyone wants to vote - all votes are appreciated!! www.coolminiornot.com/213317

Here is the latest - Wolfen ninja type character brushpot - completely on the fly so we ll see how it turns out. Took about 1 hr 50 minutes to get the shape roughed in and have now started smoothing and detailing on one side of the face.

No photo today, probably tomorrow though. Damn, couldn't sculpt this one as fast as I'd have liked - too much fur which is harder to sculpt in sculpey compared to green stuff which is a joy to sculpt fur with. Never mind. Detailing on both sides is complete - just a little work on one ear left, the head piece armour plate and the hood clasp. I reworked the eye to make it more rounded and pinched off the ear to the correct length (this is a useful trick when sculpting characters with big pointy ears - make it larger than required and then you can adjust it far more easily and dont have to potentially resculpt it!).
This may go on ebay - I originally intended to sell it, but it is by far my best bust yet so i may have to keep this one and sell the goblin instead!! Now I could quite easily keep both but as I am broke I need some dosh so...
I have officially decided to do several more of these large scale busts on the jars under the label of "Jarheads" its catchy and obvious I know but what the hey. Its a shame I cant do these in resin or something - anyone know how i c ould make a mould to get this around a jar please enlighten me. There probably is a way, but as i have not made a mould before I cant see it.
Check back for completed Wolfen tomorrow night. Hopefully. dfb

Thanks Magie. There are many ways to start a sculpt, these jarheads are straight onto the jar, solid sculpey - no bulking out with foil, no armatures. I have seen one guy who blobs in all the individual muscles! The wip photos may get more detailed as i go through projects just for the sake of people seeing the whole process, depends on time. I do like seeing this process myself though when i look through other peoples stuff.

looking forward to seeing the Wolfen finished though for the sake of Rackham IP you might want to change its name when you put it up for sale.

Here's the semi final photo of the completed wolfen sculpt. Not 100% happy with the upper teeth so i may adjust these if anyone else agrees that they dont look that great. The final photos for my cmon gallery will be taken when i get some good daylight and I will post a link for voting. This should look pretty sweet on my work bench (Im keeping this one!) and I will post pictures when I have painted it.

Well Tim, as I said I know any I make for you will be going to a good home, my painting skills are further down the ladder but I'm hoping I do a good job on the Wolfen. If I f*** it up I'm gonna be in big trouble with myself!!
