I have not been able to do any real painting for nearly three weeks now due to work being suddenly very demanding. But on the plus side I have a bit of time off now so hopefully I can re-address the balance.

Well the last few months have been a bit traumatic for me. Our company has finally gotten around to merging with it's parent company. As part of that I had to be interviewed for my job but didn't get it all the senior pistions went to the incumbant at the parent company. But on brighter note, less work, less hours for the same money. So not all bad all I have to do now is learn a new skill.

Yep funny that was what I was thinking all the time they were telling me I was a valued employee and they didn't want to lose me etc and my experience was invaluable, oh ok well now I can get on with my first love.

Well it seems I can no longer upload WIP photos on my pc. It was fine the other day and now it is not. My lad has put a webcam on the computer and since then my cam is no longer recognised. Of course it is not his fault as nothing ever bloody is.

are u connecting the camera via a USB-port? some USB-thingis (and their software) do collide with one another sometimes. its' mostly software mallfunction that f*** things like this up. what I'm trying to say is I don't think it's the Lad's fault - but Bill Gates.  |

Been to my local GW store today and am quite upset. They have reduced the warhammer items to less then a 3rd of the the space they had previously and not a lot even in that small space. They have made LOTR much bigger as well as 40K. I see a tread here with other news about them reducing shops, staff and it appears range. I suppose they are feeling the pressure from much better figures from smaller places.
Seems like the beginning of the end.

Aaarrrrrggggghhhhh knocked the bloody Madpuppet goblin beserker off the shelf today and broke the sword blade off after getting nearly all the skintone done. Thankfully though all is not lost as I have managed to refix it have repaired the damage.

Ok here goes again - the WOM site seems to have the same problems it was having the other day where all read posts are showing now as unread. As well as this the go to page has change. Is this another upgrade? - probably lose this one as well if they fix it

I have no idea what is going on with the site at the moment, this is something to do with pro-boards I am sure and it is getting quite irritating. If this persists I will contact proboards and ask some questions.

big rant for me first of all the other day i can no longer paint in my local gw store unless im waiting to play a game... i tried to order some minis off different companies (andrea and pizarro) and andreas site failed to send order so i resent and all seemed fine until i went to pay and then it said multiple same order number and pizarro miniatures i cant even get the email to pay for it at all. all in all a pretty rubbish day ooh and i rode my bike all of 3 miles to work to realise id forgotten the keys to my works bike sheds, bike lock key so i thought stuff it and went into homebase and spent 3 quid on a cruddy lock and chained it up near work oooh and sum1 dropped the mini in the WIP section and broke the top feather off and chipped it last night while i was at work hence the chip on the bag managed to fix the nmm chip but ill reglue the feather when the rest is done as its so flimsy.... all in all i just feel like banging my head up a wall (but ill get a smilie to do it for me ) or hiding in a hole and w8 for death but hey lifes to short |

not the best of weeks but ive found an english stockist for the andrea miniature i wanted but another mini rant sum1 knocked the table when i went to paint the gem on colombo and got a good streak of red all over the nmm but have redone it...

OK Nobody has ranted for a while so i guess everyone has been calm for a year or so which is good. However this rant is against f**king idiot drivers. I was innocently walking to work along a country lane which is a 30 zone and some twat in a van bombs down past me at about 40/45 or more and catches me in the arm with his wing mirror with a massive bang it totally broke off (triceps of iron me). So I chased him down the road screaming the c word at him and many other expletives until I caught up with him as he was turning around (no right turn at the end of our road). Luckily he got out of the van, whereby I explained the rudeness of his actions via the queensbury rules. After I finished pounding the living shit out of him I calmly left him with a one liner and carried on my way to work. So a word of warning to dangerous drivers out there, pedestrian rage is just as dangerous as road rage so if you driving past me it's probably safer to give me a lift.
Just thought I d get it off my chest, ruined what would otherwise have been a perfectly good day.

Nope, my arm is OK luckily and my hands too as I only used kind of medium power. My shoulder joint is a little uncomfortable but thats it really. I'm more concerned with getting a blood test i suppose as I had blood spray across my face when i looked in the mirror at work and the guy looked like a scabby loser so i may see the doc. No cuts on me though. The reason I am doubly angry is because some tosser knocked me down when i was 20 on a blind corner on the A38 (death row I call it personally. Lot of accidents locally on it) whilst walking inside the line i might add. Yes I got a big bag of compensaton swag but he didnt stop and that is key to my rage. This guy didnt stop either, i probably wouldnt have beaten him up if he pulled over and apologised (probably heheh). Death to idiots!!

Seems there is just a barrel load of shite in life at the moment, I don't often rant but just lately things have gotten on top of me and it showed the other day when I was a bit tetchy, firstly I am facing redundancy as are alot of people but the company I am working for is constantly misleading its staff and keeping us hanging on without any real knowledge of what is going to happen to us, I have been constantly ringing around to try and get work elsewhere but no one is taking on, then I find out a couple of days ago that they didn't pass on my child support after having deducted it from my wages, they didn't tell me this I got a snotty phone call from the CSA.
It is also uncertain that the staff will get paid or not this month so we could be in effect working for nothing and we will not know for sure until next week when we are due to be paid.
Then f***k me if the washing machine broke down and guess what the extended cover had run out.
That and the general run of the mill shit it has been a shitty week. So I was a bit snappy by the end of the day.
