I think we will be assured of a good sale most painted minis do well on e-bay, also if you offset the cost of each contributor as opposed to the final sale price then you will see that CiN will get to recieve a decent amount and in any case it is for charity so that to me is all that matters.

Since we are allowed to paint the ork skin in our own way, would it be ok to paint the skin in different shade in the same unit?
Thanks,
Razh

I would say yes, im doing slightly different shade for the 5 im doing, as i can't imagine every OrK having skin tones to match. Humans have a huge variety of skin tones/colours, why wouldn't orks?

Yes as long as there is not too much diversity in skintones that should be fine.

Hey guys,
What I'm thinking is won't it seem a bit odd as there are many different skill levels of painting on this site. So for instance, some of the army will be painted at Tim's standard, whereas others might not be as good. Won't this look strange?
Cheers, Raccy.

Raccy as the paint aid project on Cmon showed that will not be an issue, there were many different painting levels on that project and the army did very well at auction. There were a few big painting names in that one I know but even so I don't think it will be an issue.

Right ok then mate, as long as you do not think it will pose a problem it is fine!

Don't worry raccy, hopefully the buyer will be the typical 'can't go by 3 layers' painter!!! but seriously, there is enough quality involved to make this a serious contender of an army

Yes I have your Orc and will post it just as soon as I have time to get to the post office, I also have my trade for matty just as soon as I get the broken mini replaced by GW. As for the base don't stray away from the cityfight theme please.

Hello mate and welcome to the sight, I am sure that I can find something for you to have a go at, I need to look at the list of jobs and see what is what and what sort of force we have. Give me a day or two to get through my night roster at work and then I will sort you out.

Just thought I would check in and let you know that I am working on the Stormboyz (they're primed and I'm in the process of getting them set for pinning), albeit a bit slowly at the moment. I'm trying to finish one piece that's supposed to be a present for a friend, plus 3 peices that are entries into a contest.
Once that stuff it out of the way, I'll be able to get some more painting done on the orcs.
