You mention on Jaberwockys WIPs that you would like to see some more WIP's being progressed. TBH i havn't done anymore, i honestly havn't been in a GW painting mood for about a month now and have been opting for more Rackham things, plus college is very busy at th moment, im doing 9hrs a day (i know thats normal working hours! but im a student!) and i havn't got the energy to paint on a night at the moment. But...when i do get more done, i will defo post an update.

These boyz have just piqued my interest, so I have been focusing on them; plus I wanted to finish up the skin to get a tutorial out there for anyone who was interested.

I'm actually not sure if Dr.E did 40mm rounds as that is what my geezer came on.... if not it will be no probs to make my own in context... however Charlie made a good point, how can we help with the cost? even postage will be a nightmare for you when you think how far and wide we all are

I'm hoping I can get some of these bases since my basing skills need a lot of improvement, so if I can help out somehow, just let me know.

the bases are costing nothing, Spacemunkie is donating them, as for posting don't worry about it the cost will be negligable resin doesn't weigh a lot in small amounts.

Dr EM did a stirling job with those bases. The moulds are done, just need some numbers now. There are 15 x 25mm and 5 x 40mm. I've got some 60mm ruined ones that would fit in with the Cityfight theme as well if they're needed for Kans, artillery and the like.

I just cast up the first batch and they look the badger's nadgers! They're nice and chunky too, so should help keep the plastic boyz the right way up when in use.
I'll knock up a few batches, then drop them in the post to Tim once I've got numbers.
The bottoms of the bases need a light sanding - just a quick skid across some glasspaper really to level them off. It's quite important and can make a big difference to the final look. Minis WILL need pinning to the bases - the easiest way with metal minis is to pare down the tag to a spike/peg on each foot and drill slightly larger holes. Plastics will need the old paper clip treatment. Might be worth considering before starting future paintjobs...??
Hope that helps!
