I can't claim to be the brainchild of this thread as I have blatantly stolen the idea from the Chest Of Colours site. Sorry Mahon. but this is a good way to generate a bit of discussion. So what have you been painting today? I have painted almost to completion the free Goblin from the last issue of White Dwarf. I just have the last coupe of little details to do and then the base and he is done.

Back to LoTR today, i've had an Armoured Lothlorien Elf standard bearer waiting for ages, today i managed to get back to him, dropped him twice and drew blood when i put my hand down on the point of his banner/lance... it was a little bent but not unsavable So i've had to rebase him as the slate split when i dropped him Anyhow he's coming along just lovely

@ Menace: Are you going to continue the guide on OR for your woodelf? I don't think so, i had to compromise with 'her that must be obeyed' and spend less time online and i'm sticking to just the one site. There was only a few members interested so i sort of got fed up, it is a lot of work to be so detailed in explaining everything. If i can give any advice however i'd be happy to if asked ps. I'm still up for the mag

I wanted to write here yesterday but my link has been v v slow all weekend,, however to catch up.... I had decided to clean, base and prime a load of minis and at the time it seemed like a good idea, Tim & Dr.E were a little more sceptical (and a little more experienced i now realise) about the consequences! SCATTERBRAIN.. that's the only way to describe this weekend ;D I finished Stern at last and was meaning to continue with my Comp Orc but as the weather was so bad i stayed in and ended up working on loads of different minis, all because they were primed and ready... now i feel like i done something but it looks like i've done nothing! The list reads; Stern - finished Boromir (fellowship) - begun Titan Orc - base coated flesh Desdemone - 2nd coated primer Arwen/Frodo/Ringwraith/Flight to the Ford (that's the one where Glorfindel goes TV ) - tidied up base details on this mini mini diorama Warg Rider - primed The Hunter ( a massive lizard thingie!) - painted base Grey Knight Termie - converted arm to hold banner i could go on with a wee bit of this and that but i'll just come to the point.. don't put all your eggs in one basket! Happy painting guys

What have I been painting today? I have been painting 4 walls and some coving thats what. And I'll tell you something - menace, Tim and all the other great painters here on this forum, you would all drop to your knees in enviable worship of my work if you were to behold the fine brilliant white gloss on my skirting boards and the magnificent silk sheen on the coving. And the walls! They truly are so skilfully blended you cant see where the flat colour blends into the rest of the flat colour. Be jealous, all of you. Pictures are coming soon guys, it's definately gonna be at least 9.5 on CMON.
