Ok, time for some questions then... Sorry if they'll sound dumb, but I know nothing about 40k rules and its better to be sure.
So, the nobz come with 3 weapons choices: choppas, sluggas and shootas. Should I use some particular combo or can I mess it up a bit? Cause one ork with the 2 big ones or 2 choppas would look so great... If it was for me I would do it anyway, but as this is supposed to be a playable army I dont know if it makes much sense.
Also, is there space for conversions? I mean, I guess some tiny changes in the look are not a big deal but, say, can I make the weapons look more nasty or add extra suff?
Finally (at least for now), these resin bases seem big for these lads. Shouldnt they be in regular 25mm bases or it doesnt matter?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, sorry about the bad picture but its really to make sure these weapon combos are legal. From left to right, slugga and shoota; shoota and choppa; choppa and slugga; and slugga and shoppa. I used a thumbnail as I'm not sure whats the image size limit here in WoM. Anyone can avoid me a bunch of extra reading? ;D

If you keep to between 450 and 600 dpi you should be fine Mac.

Ok then. I needed a break from LOTR so I started one of these nobz earlier that what I thought. Its really just a start and there's still lots to do but heres a pic of the face as it is so far. I didnt like much the pony tail thingy on this lad, so I clipped it off and used some GS to make some piercings. Also did one on the left eyebrow, but its not very visible on these shots. One of the arms has also piercings so I'll use it for this ork too, to tie things up.

Strong work! I always like it when folks add their own little touches to a mini.

Well, I'm working on these models quite a bit. All parts of all models are pinned, glued and greenstuffed (except the heads) and the gun barrels drilled. I even managed to drill my finger too yesterday, eheh! Also started the body of one of the lads. The flesh isnt totally finished, but I want to attach the head before doing anything else. It started to chalk a bit, so it will need a few glazes to bring the colour back. Meanwhile I had a go on the guns... The slugga is pretty much finished, but I don't like the yellow stripes on the shoota... will have to fix that. Here's a pic: Shot at 2007-09-06

Quick question - I've noticed you've done 'natural' eyes. I thought they were supposed to be red? I'm not up on the fluff & want to get mine right

Its not very noticeable in the picture perhaps, but they are red pupils on white. I have no idea if they should be totally red though; I did them like that at first but didnt like the result much.

Most people go with red eyes, bur I can't see it makes any difference how they are done as long as they are done well. If there were such creatures there would be alot of variation just like among humans.
