And I'm finally back to the hobby, after what it seemed like way too many really busy weeks. Anyway, here's some pictures of this ork. Some work is still needed but its almost done. The paint seems to be a bit glossy, and it really is. I'm trying a glaze medium on this one, and it seems to give this effect. The flesh, for instance, looks more flat than what it actually is. Nothing that good ol' Dull Coat cant fix, though I'll probably leave the metal areas out of testors to keep the effect. Shot at 2007-11-07

And another one started, still a bit early in the paintjob. Many colours are still flat and such. As two of the resin bases were the same, i kinda chopped it a bit to make it look a bit different. Its not very obvious now that the ground is all black, but you might see it later. The base was the same as the previous mini, but I clipped that metal piece on the back, and made a vent and a dented wheel to put in the ground. Simple but effective way of getting some quick variations. Shot at 2007-11-10

Ok, these two are pretty much done... Just a couple of touches here and there and then dull coat. The others are coming.... sooner rather than later I hope.

I really like these minis. You got a cool gritty style, which suits these minis. Great job

Very nice work Mac, as usual. Orks are so much fun to paint and you've obviously enjoyed yourself with these guys.
