I'd be happy to paint something if you think my painting is upto it, i wouldnt want to lower the overall standard.
I'd happily grab something out of my ork box (maybe a buggy ?) and paint it.

Right like kaine I have plenty of ork models and I'd be more than happy to paint some up and donate to the project.
If you guys will have me, tell me what you need doing.

Would it be possible to give the minis to you at UK GD Tim? Only it would make everything a whole lot easier for me.

If you like mate I can do that, only it will not leave you that much time to get them painted. However if you want to receive them then that is fine by me.

CiN night is november 17th so guys the dead line for everything to be in to tim should be the 10th still a good bit of time so get cracking ! ! !. . . Marked on the calendar...a deadline always helps to get the creative juices flowing, or to see how long to procrastinate until you need to get the creative juices flowing...

I'm pretty close to being done. I probably would be done, but I'm working on an entry for GenCon Indy so that's taking a great deal of my time. I should finish my orks right after GenCon is over.

At a "pay and get a random blister at a low pricething" at GW I got: 2x Tankbustas (miniatures not blisters) Ork Storboys Nob Ork kommando with burna
I'd love to paint these up for CiN if I can, whoever is organizing the list can tell me. It will be something to do while I wait for the artillery.

OK guys - I've finally got round to looking at this properly. Now fantasies my main thing so excuse the really newbie type questions. I've got some sprues of some Ork Boys in front of me. I reckon I can commit to doing 5 for this project. Here come the questions: 1) Can I have some of those bases you're talking about on the other thread to help tie these boys into the army. 2) What weapons should I use? I know in 40K that is quite important & there appear to be a lot of different types on the sprues 3) Is there any restriction on colour scheme? 4) How many figures make a squad? If 6 or even 7 is better I can probably manage that, but I would feel more comfortable with 5. I think that's it for now. Thanks in advance

I received from Dagorlad today the display base for the Ork center piece and it is a mighty fine piece of work, sadly one part was damaged in transit and needs to be repaired so I will be contactinc him to ask for the colour recipe for that part of the model. I can tell though this looks better in realy life than it does in the photos.
Thanks alot Alan.

Not yet Alan, I have not had the time to get the repair done and I still only have one of my Orks finished though the second is in production as we I type this. So hopefully time allowing I will be able to show something soon.

Hi all. I have made a start on a couple of ork nobs for this poject. Is there a particular colour scheme and basing method? I really don't want to troll through the entire thread. Thanks Nigel

Heya, Talonicus! I'd wait for the official word from Tim, but I think the color scheme was pretty standard faire--earthy browns, reds and/or checks thrown in as you see fit, greenskin. Rust 'em up and weather them to taste. The basing is an urban cityfight look. Tim has some specially made resins Spacemunkie was kind enough to donate as well if he still has some left.
