This company is for me a bit hit and miss, they do some nice minis and they also to me make some that are not so nice, however here are three models that I do like, Check them out here www.alphaforgegames.com

I like Alpha Forge quite a bit. I have been painting bunches of it. I think some of the pics on their website don't show as well as they could, but the owner guy is very nice, they are relatively cheap...A crew of 5 human 'salvagers' is 15 american dollars!
They make fantastic looking robots, with big clunky hands...Who doesn't like that?

I'd like to see some of your work jimmy as I have been pondering with getting a couple of bits and pieces but it is the poor pics that are putting me off.

Thats one of the War droids...he is humanoid size... She is human sized too....LOL He is my favorite that I have done so far....I added the weapon flash...most people don't like that, but I did, so screw em! (LOL) I am working on the Salvage truck and the BIG demolition bot now....I have added a plow blade to the front of the truck, and built a pull behind trailer. Would you like to see WIP of those?

Supervike? Is that you? I can't remember if I commented on those on CMoN, but you did a great job on them.

Yeah they are cool, these pics show the models much better, I can see me placing an order for some in the very near future. The top one the tracked bot is great.

Thanks Tim...Do so...that Rod at Alpha Forge is a hella nice guy, and he deserves some business..
About that supervike thing....um yeah. I kinda am him too.
But, I didn't want to cause a fuss and have that stigma follow me forever....I just want to be a guy who absolutely is bonkers for minis....sometimes I lose track of that elsewhere...
I was kinda cornered when asked to show my work though!! LOL
My real name is Jim Gilstrap...thus jimmygee!
Don't tell anyone, ok?

Sorry about that Jim. I didn't mean to make a fuss or anything. I was just curious if it was you. I certainly don't see any sort of stigma with your name. It certainly shouldn't change my opinion or what not of you, your work is great no matter your moniker. You're just another guy crazy about mini's like me. If it's a problem I'm sure Tim wouldn't have a problem deleting these posts. Sorry again.

I was kind of guessing it was you, the pictures of the minis sealed it though. They are very nice inis and I will be adding them to my collection in the near future.

Oh heck! No need to apologize. I certainly wasn't trying to keep it secret. I figured, the more I posted, the more clues would be given out, eventually I'd be 'outed'. I was having fun with it more than anything else. It was fun to be 'anonymous mini painter' for a while.... In fact I did the same thing over at the Slave to Paint forum. I used the same name and Avatar. Klute had me outed after two posts!! He knew I had sculpted a bigfoot out of greenstuff (my first sculpt!) using that picture as a guide.
