Hi,i've started to paint an iw army for warhammer 40k, it's for myself as i want to use them this winter to play in the local hobby club.First mini i've done was a loyalist rhino that followed me in my conversion to chaos actually i'm working on 2 tactical squads of 5 pieces each: 4 regular with heavy bolter and a lascannon. After that luckily i'll have in my hands a iw box of 8 i've just purchased on ebay. Other pieces i must paint are: 2 chaos predator 1 basilisk 1 demon prince and at least 3 obliterators.

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you! I like the rhino, but the enlarged hazard markings don't appeal to me as much. Some closer pics would help with any additional critiques.

As anticipated the predator annihilator is finished, there are some imprecisions and the big picture helps to spot them but all in all i'm quite satisfied: i think it will do well on the tabletop.

Looking good Raul, I like the weathering I feel you might want to make it a little darker towards the bottom edges of the bodywork, the hazard markings are cool too. I am going to be getting into the Dark Angels comission that I made a preliminary start on next week so hopefully I will get some shots up too.

Thx Tim,you are a truly metallic master so what is your opinion on the gold? I think it's ok but your opinion is welcome.

Looking good. The hazard markings is looking good, but might be a bit overdone. I really like the huge chaos star on the back of the rhino ;D
And Tim, I'm a Dark Angels painter, so I'm looking forward to your pictures ;D
Cheers

Nothing big was done due to a lot of minis i must do before, but here is the base for my demon prince, it's done with the resincast stuff of the gw urban basing kit. the picture is a little over-exposed but anyway gives the idea.

Looks good mate, you are lucky to have the Urban Basing Kit too as I think it has been discontinued, at least I can't find it on their site anymore.

The aspiring champion is awesome. I like the metals and the rusty chainmail, and the hazard markings on his powerfist looks good.
