Anyone ever getinto Talisman, I did right from the first edition, I then replaced it for the second edition ad got all the expansions even the fabled Dragons expansion that was never out for long. I spent many a happy night with mates trying to get to the Crown of Command whilst trying to avoid picking the Void ending card or the raiders in the adventure deck. Fantastic game.

Talisman was a great game - i used to play with my brother. I asked him if he still had it a few weeks ago but he thought I nicked it. It sells for quite a bit on ebay so I don't have the cash to get it again. He had a lot of the mini's as well. I think there are whole fan sites with custom expansion boards and cards and characters to download.

Sadly I sold all three editions that I had as there was only me left in the house that liked it, but I would dearly love to play it again.

I used to play that in the olden days. Many an hour was spent sorting through all those millions of cards in the first edition...

I had the 3rd edition for a while, with two of the 3 expansions, and throughly enjoyed playing it with friends at at that time, then my previous partner at athat time let her dad go and take all my games to car boot, and there was a lot of games including Warhammer Quest, so I was a bit pissed at her. At the prices they are now going for on Ebay, I've not got a chance in hell of getting them again..........

Pissed, that is putting it mildly, I would have been F***ING furious if it were me, I sold mine on e-bay and made a fortune for them. Mind you I do regret it now.

It was a while ago, and I'm no longer with her, and haven't been for quite a few years, but I still get pissed at it when I think about it..................Grrr gonna go to work all pissed off now, I've thought about again!!! In the pile was every games GW had put out upto the release of the 3rd ed Talisman, plus some games like DragonStrike, Battlemasters, all my Heroquest, and Space Crusade bits, plus some AD&D bits, so it was quite a haul. I never even saw any money for them, once he'd taken them, caused many a row in our house at the time. Did it with 2/3's of my comic collection too, a few months bfore we spilt for good...............cow!
Now my wife these days, is a different matter all together, as she actively encourages my gaming and painting, and takes on the GM role in our Heroquest games, which is nice.

My firat break up cost me all my painted models I had at the time including au undead army that had over 3000 figures in it that I had been collecting and painting since my earliest days, also my model railway, my superb stereo system plus my LP's and just about everything else i owned. I basically walked out with the clothes I had on and was lucky to do even that. Funny thing is is wasn't even my fault.
