Well just thought I’d give an update for those who wan to know. This project was nearly done, but than I decided to revamp the entire thing to be based around a D100 instead of a D20 because my rules where too close to D&D rules and I did not wan to get sued or something for putting there rules on the internet. Also I like the D100 better as you can deal directly in %, making the mathematics of the game easier.
Secondly dose anyone know where I can fined a good map of the 40k universe? I have found a couple and the one in the rulebook is probably the best but if you fined anything tell me.
I will also answer any questions anyone may have.

Hmm I might look it over, but I don’t think I’m going to stop my project because of it. Mainly because by the description it dose not sound too great. A RPG that forces you to be a certain role? And I also do not get why they are releasing it in three games? I think I’d rather play my game, as it allows you to play almost any race in the galaxy, allows GM to make any story they would like, basic it is total freedom for players and GM or DM.
This is what I’m talking about when I asked “A RPG that forces you to be a certain role?” because what it sounds like to me is they are releasing an entire game based soly on an Inquisitor retinue… ok but what if I wana do something ells. Ah but Black Industries has the answer for everything… relies a different game the first with rough traders and alien pirates. The second as the SM… why. Why would you relies three separate RPG games about the same thing. It is not that hard to condense them. I did it. And they are not saying they are source books like add on to the first they are saying they are separate games with separate source books… but what if you wana make a game where your level one fighter is living in a hive world, and is picked up by an inquisitor, than he eventually gets stronger and is inducted into the ranks of a SM chapter that gets recruits from hiveworlds. And why not make it so you could do this with one book? Sorry for this little rant but it pisses me off when GW dose stuff like this just so they can make more money because you must buy a new book if you get tired of playing the same sort of role.
Well now that that is over I will tell you more about my version…
1. There is every intelligent race in the galaxy in one ‘book’ and we will constantly be adding more. I say intelligent because Tyranid are not in it as PC they are in it as monster NPC’s. 2. There is a lot of classes to choose from. Acolyte, (can grow to Inquisitor), Assassin from any Temple, Priest/Monk… the list goes on. Also there are several Advanced classes that you will actually wan to get to, since there are no multi classing… oh and yes you can become a SM. 3. There are profiles for almost every weapon in the 40K game. 4. Fighting is much more energetic and intense with location damage. You can cut off peoples heads, blow off someone’s leg. No more “you hit them for 3 damage”. 5. GM’s have the abilitie to make any storyline they would like, from Inquisitorial investigation, to a SM kill team raid on a Eldar temple… and there can even be Eldar PC’s fighting the SM PC’s. 6. Complete and total freedom for GM’s to fulfill there ideas for any 40K story. 7. Its Free.
Now the bad bit. It looks like it will still take a bit longer as there have been some kinks in test play… but fear not we are working on it diligently.
Well that is all for now… still need a map if anyone has something.

Well it is sad to inform you that this project has been set aside, as my schedule has become tighter, and the person who was writing it with me has left the project. Note that I did not say Canceled however simply laid aside for the time being, as it is my hope to work on this more in the future.

That is actually a very cool map, I might have to readdress some of these forums a bit as they very rarely get a post in them.
