So what do you play?

Hmm it seems as though this forum is a bit bare… So do you play; D&D, SWRPG, WoW RPG, Vampire, D20, or any other RPG?

I guess I’ll go first. I play and DM D&D, and SWRPG. A friend and I are also working on writing a RPG system for Warhammer 40k, Its working title is simply Inquisitor after the GW game.

Thanks for kicking this off ell, I have palyed WHRP on occaision and a long time ago now D&D. I have heard goodthings about D20 to so I might give that a try some time in the future.

yes the D20 game dose look rather intiresting, For "Inquisitor" we looked at the D20 gun statistics for our Warhammer versions.

We are looking into making a websight for it and have thought about proboards for it as well, but I will defenetly notify you when we finish it.

It has been a looong time, but back in jr. high and high school I played D&D. We dabbled a bit in a game called Gamma World, Traveller, the GURP's fantasy world as well.

I remember Traveller that was ok, I even seem to remember that there used to be a few Traveller minis released as well.

I'v hered of Traveller as well. never seen the rules or anything but I have herd the name.

I have no time for playing RPGs anymore, but I used to play a lot.

My favourites were Warhammer Fantasy RPG and RIFTS. The first immediately trapped me with its dark world and realistic rule set, we've played it for long years. RIFTS has a bit old-school system, but its world and freedom in playable characters makes it very interesting. I also have a couple of RIFTS minis, one is in queue for repaining.

I have also played a lot of AD&D, Vampire, and tried numerous other systems from Buck Rogers and Paranoia to Mutant Chronicles.

I have played some World of Darkness (Werewolf).

I have thought about getting World of Darkness myself it looks good. Maybe one day thetrouble is I just have to find someone to play with.

Right now almost exclusivly GURPS Fantasy. For our group (actors and kids) GURPS gives us the freedom to justify anything we want in a charector. As long as you can think it up and as long as you play it, anything goes. So orcs can be purple, dwarves can be cajun, and a frost giant can be an NPC. Our games tend to be kind of like skits from "Who's line is it anyway" so this game fits us best.

I play & DM D&D and have been since the wearly 80's, but in my time I have played Traveller, Judge Dredd, WHRP, Amber, Paranoia & too many others to mention. One I haven't tried is GURPS but always liked the idea.

We still play Heroquest, all be it beefed up a bit with many a house rule to jazz the game up, plus Talisman, real RPG's are a bit confusing to my players, mos of them having only just gotten into gaming.
I do like the odd game of BloodBowl now and again

well i play lotr fbg rarely and warhammer fantasy
always wanted to play d&d or other rpg's ive had a couple of games of dungeonbowl which was fun id like to play that properly or even bloodbowl

Play LOTR mostly with the rare occasion of a 40K game. Don't actually play Fantasy as of yet.

I have always wanted to play BloodBowl and Necromunder looks OK. Battlefleet Gothic too looks really fun same for Aeronautica Imperialis. I hope to get into some of these later in life.

Will start playing Arena Deathmatch with anybody I know who plays it once it's released
