Ive seen alot of the models produced by GW for LOTR but ive never had the chance to buy any due to me having duties to Inq. but the models especially the Sauron model has always caught my eye wherever ive seen it. And now i have an income instead of saved up lunch money i was thinking of getting into it. Also whats it like to play?

I have only played a couple of times and from what I remember it is pretty good, I have also played the mines of Moria game and that too is good. There are some excellent models in the Lotr range but there are some pretty awful ones too. The thing also to remember is that the standard human figures are smaller than the WHFB and 40K models and that can be a tricky thing to get used too. You being into inquisitor may find the difference even harder dropping down from 54mm scale. All I can say is try it out and see how you like it. Try a game in store at GW to get the feel for it and have a go at painting a mini or two. Lotr is my favourite theme so you will get lots of support from me plus there is the One Ring website as well that is Lotr themed and full of helpful members.

They are very nice to paint, have an almost hasslefree quality to some of them.

Excellent game and excellent minis ... most of the time! But yeah, if you are interested then I give it a go in your local GW if they have a game going, and if you enjoy it then start buying! And Tim has already mentioned it, but I will give you a link to the One-Ring hobby site, it is alot like WoM with lots of friendly people (including lots of us guys there too) but it is dedicated purely to LOTR. www.one-ring.co.ukSee what you think. I love the LOTR game but not everyone does, so give it a try as I said earlier. I'd recommend it!
