Mine used to look like that, i would never get anything done because i kept getting distracted by other half finished models or unopened boxes.....then, i got a new desk about 2 weeks ago! I now have one model infront of me, which aids concentration, and im getting alot more finished now! *EDIT* It aint that tidy now though lol! Theres a few paints and some foam lying about, and a few more models on the display bit, all in plastic display boxes now!

Nice painting (and sculpting) areas everyone.
@andrè: Would there be a possibility to see some close ups of that giant and mordor troll?

Here's a more recent one. I have got a new display cabinet, but there are only two finished minis to display, while all the others are WIPs (I have all my finished minis stashed in the attic, but don't bother getting them down lol). I have just tidied up my painting area, because the place was so messy and I needed tidyness when working on my two competition entries ;D I know my other pictures of my workstation were tidy too, but it never is as tidy as this, so don't get fooled by the pictures ;D

Don't get too excited, it's not done yet, it still needs to be sanded and varnished but here are some pics of what it will look like: Close up of where my work area will be: And a wide shot: There aren't any paints/minis etc. there yet because it isn't done but you get the idea! Thanks, Raccy

Err... bit of bad news... It turned out that my dad was doing really well, he had it sanded and varnished by last night and everything was going ok BUT then we realised that the varnish was the totally wrong colour! So, that's a big waste of wood and we're going to have to buy a new unit and start again!

Well after being an idiot and trying to start my own painting space thread, I decided to post in the proper one. This picture is actually over a year old i'd imagine but the set up is still more or less the same.

Need to get some new pics of my painting area, as I have now got a whole room to myself. Basically my old living room had a bit stuck on the end where the previous tenents had removed a wall, and we've put it back in giving the living room more shape and identity, and my wife has given me the small room it's made on the other side. Now I have a computer, cardstock scenery making, and painting areas, all together, but all with separate space.

Nice and clean, too clean for my liking but hopefully it will get a little more cluttered with WIPs very soon.

I got fed up misplacing paints so i took some balsa wood i had for modelling and made a little paint rack for all my paints. Mainly GW, the sets of three you see in triples are foundry paints so their kept together.
