This is one of three 1984 Dwarves I received in a trade with Tim and aren't they just great! Had to get to work on them right away, tiny little boys but so full of character..and on cast bases, such memories, get the runequest out ;D I've done a bit of crosshatching in the painting to add some texture, the base is simply coated in 'arable land' from some railway accessories.

Yep these old Dwarves are great, I still have about a dozen more of them to paint up myself. I did paint a few including this one a long time ago and the painting doesn't match yours but it is surprising to see how close we are in paint scheme, though mine has a hat not a hood. Excellent work mate and nice to see it painted.

That looks fantastic mate, the cloth actually does look real! The crosshatching has working really well to give it texture, I love this mini!
Well done!

I really like this little simple mini. Dennis, seen the norwegian commercial: "Det enkle er ofte det beste". You got it I really like the beige cloth, looks very natural and realistic. And you gotta love that nose! ;D Great work mate And what's the stuff on the base? I like it, I want something like that for my grey company army Did you get it in Norway?
