Heyas
Im new here. Ive been watchin a lot of the stuff going on round here for a while now (couple of months i beleive), so finally decided/found something to post for you guys.
Here are 2 guardians; both are about 2 years old now, so the paint has wore off a little (camera is too good >< it pics it all up cant notice when u look at it in person >< ), and the first one I never highlighted the blue with the final highlight, but it shows the armour highlights much better; thus why I put it with the original.

PS: How do I make these pics show on here without them blooming up to like 1250x1000 aka make them smaller?
Now I've been trying to replicate this now (decided to start up my army again; been painting for about 6 years now, but Im always on and off) since I love the way it has turned out after 2 years of.... fading or whatever it has done. I went back to a thread I put on 40konline about it 2 years ago, and copied the tutorial I put down.
The results weren't cool The reason I stoped painting these dudes, I remembered, was because the teal colour wasn't very 'nice'. It was/is flat, and doesnt look appealing...and the final highlight SHOULD have been white rather then bleach bone, but thats fixed easaly and isnt an issue, the teal is. So for the last 2 months, Ive been searching around for a method in which I can paint teal; 1 that I can apply to an army that will look good, but wont take forever, and one that doesnt require a white undercoat :x I did use a white undercoat for this model(s), but applying white prima to the heads and weapons, and then black to the armour is really annoying and becomes too difficult in mass production.
Does anyone know any good tealish builds I can use? Dark or light, not fussed; as long as I can expand on it for painting my heroes up to a much higher standard. Keep in mind, all my products are GW at this stage; being I live in Melbourne, getting anything else is the ultimate pain... *sigh*
Thanks heaps.
