Here he is at long last my Ilyad Games Leonidas now completed. This has given me a few gripes along the way but over all I am very pleased with it and it was for the most part a joy to paint.

I hope you like it as much as I do. I think my next mini will be something a little less complex though lol.

I wouldn't rush to Cmon as it has been rejected. Apparently the file size is too large even though I use the exact same formula every time and it is well within the 600 pixel width limit. I am going to have to re-submit it I am afraid. Thanks for all the kind comments.

omg it looks so awesome instantly 10 on cmon my jaw just dropped at first when i saw the back of the base i thought it was a tad too futureistic but when the sheild is on (i know its weird) but it just looks like it goes one thing im uncertain on is with the sculpt the cloth/material on the sheild but overall the paint job is awesome.
i wish i had that mini im so jealous

Absolutely fantastic Tim, I really really love this mini, it has to be now one of my favourites form you (but then again, all of the minis which come from you are my favourites!). I just don't know what to say about this mini... I can't describe using mere words how good it is!
