For something you hate you sure do a nice job. Nice to see you post here again mate, I like this alot the only critique I might add is that maybe another step or two of highlighting on the blkues skirt around the horse. I had this model and didn't want to paint it and admire your patience in sticking with something that you are not keen on.

One of the first minis i ever painted and all i can remember about it was what a handfull! and i think it put me off painting horses for a year  I like the colour choices, certainly High Elf and generally think you have done an excellent job, i personally would like to see the blue areas all brought up to the standard of the wings on the side of the horses head and a lot more contrast on the tail, either a darker wash or more white on the highlights. Many of the gems seem a little flat in the pic and may benefit from more highlighting on the underside working in following the curvature of the gem. Just my 2 cents  |

Not a big fan of those bloody pointed eared pansies, the Elf's, being a dwarf n'all, but this ones painted really nice, with a lovely bit o'freehand.
