hey,
it's been a long time since I posted mini here (had a painting break...) but finally got sth worthy presenting to public
that's a piece for polish painting contest (warmachine/hordes warcaster/warlock/solo); I want to keep it hidden from polish painters at least until contest will be resolved

Seriously though demi this is excellent the whole mini is perfect right down to the veins.

in future I'd like to paint another one bloaty guy - this time I'd like to make it relatively "fresh": pink, warm skintone, bluish veins etc... we'll see one day I'd like to paint great unclean one so I have to practise

Sweet job on the veins--I like the weathering as well. That tall grass is placed rather conspicuously--is there something you don't want us to see??

Great work demi! I really love this model, absolutely beautiful in a rotten sort of way.

Your work on the skin is just amazing, right down to the veins. The purple in the skin is just the right shade of diguesting and the weathering on the metals is top notch.

A big thumbs up from me!

really i like it a lot! the veins fits perfectly in the mood, the skin tone, the metal oxidation...i like all!

I can share the general idea
I started with dark undercoat, than mixed rms medium grey with elf flesh/bronzed flesh, and than highlighted it adding white with maaany layers;
once dried there was a lot of diluted washes: green, blue, brown, red, purple - that's basically all;
next time I'll try to note down exact color combo


and since I decided to paint a thing for "jack" category I decided for unorthodox cryx death-chicken:
pics are horrible but it's the best I could get taking photos of white models is real pain ion the a**
