Love this piece, and really enjoyed painting it, thanks to a friend for trading it with me. Can't wait to pit some of my players against it, will make a challenging boss. Went for this colour scheme, as I use the Caveworks system from Worldworks Games, and it's an orangey looking rock, so he should blend in nicely, plus I had seen a blue one, and didn't want to copy, green seemed to Dragonish, as did red, so that's the reason. Thanks Bruenor

It is a very cool looking mini and you have done a very good job of it. Orange is not an easy colour to make look realistic but you have managed it.

Thanks guys. Orange is easy, just mix a bit o'brown ink with the shading wash, sorts it out everytime, got some Hobgoblins that scream orange skin to me to come in the future. Might not see anymore from me this week as we have a stocktake a work, so lots of extra hours to get ready and perform the actual deed. Sigh. Glad you like it tho. ;D It's also a Bob Olley sculpt, so that fact alone nearly made me sex wee.............. (love Bob's sculpts in case you hadn't noticed )

Excellent work! The sculpt looks rather static but the paint work is really top notch.

You did a great job on this one! I did one a couple of years back (it may have been the blue one you saw if it was over at CMoN) and really enjoyed painting it as well.
