Busy, busy boy, but not doing what I should have..

Instead of getting on with my competition enteries I have been over at Worldworks, buying, printing and building stuff all from thin card.
The first set of pics is the Firstlight set, and the second being Caveworks.

Caveworks is still a WIP, but Firstlight is finished apart from foamcard basing it.
You'll see in the FL pics I have added doors around the reactor, as I felt that if it was a real ship they wouldn't want the reactor blowing up down the corridor, plus it gives a small engineering room.

I've also converted a Space marine mini, to fit in as a pilot in the shuttlecraft, and have the legs to do a pilot and co-pilot for the Bridge.

That stuff is realy cool, I realy must get the set I have printed off and assembled.

The only thing is it takes a while to cut all the pieces out, it's taken me a fortnight to completly build the Firstlight ship, including the interior pieces.

Wow, that looks like fun stuff to play with, but if i spilt my beer it might get a bit messy It's like a 3D Xbox game, although i would prefer the decor to be more Doom3 than StarWars

Wow, those boards look awesome. It must be quite hard, and fustrating to put together all those paper sheets. I remember I had a paper house for WHFB once, the one that came with the old WHFB starter set. I ruined it in my anger and fustration ;D

Nah, they are quite relaxing putting together once you have the right glue, the frustrating part is cutting it all out.
