Many good points, i like the jetpack, the armour and the metallics... the power sword looks good here too although could maybe use some hotspots (serious highlighting). What strikes me as needing the most attention is the robe and the red skirt. White is difficult enough but the transition from shade to highlight is quite severe. It would be good to work from the shaded colour as a base and gradually add small amounts of white each layer you move away from the shaded areas (the more layers the smoother the transition) until you are almost white for the midtone, then highlight up to pure white. If the transitions are not perfect you can blend them with a very very dilute glaze of a slightly off white and then rehighlight. I would say the same process would help with the red. Dullcoat would really help too, all the surfaces have a gloss to them and dullcoat really helps the authentic look in cloth etc.. and also the particles that create the dull effect help soften the blending, however it does ruin metallics to certain extent, so after dullcoating i bring the metals back with some Humbrol Matt Varnish Hope this makes sense, good clean work though

I know I'm not good at light colours. And I had to rush the robes to finish them in time for the comp. This mini was actually intended to gaming in my dark angels army, so it has a little tabletop standard influence to it. Thanks for the advice, I must practice my light colours
