Hi Everybody, Thought I'd open up a new thread to show only my painted Heroquest stuff, just to make you all feel nostalgic and get your old copies out and play them again. Some you may have seen before, as I thought it would be best to put everything HQ, I have done here. This will incude the furniture pieces and the minis from the expansion packs. It may take me a while to get everything done, so this thread may be subject to threadomancy every once in a while rather than opening a new thread each time, is that OK , mods? First off the Heroes: Now the Evil ones............whooo HAaaah haaa ahem sorry.... Only the Orcs to go from the main set now, I know I've only shown a couple of Fimir and three Goblins, but all the one included are painted too. Thanks Bruenor

This is quality stuff, I have recently got back into mine and am thinking that it would be nice to paint all the minis. You even have the Wizards of Morcar set you lucky sod I have been after that for a long time now but I won't pay the daft prices it goes for on e-bay. Keep us posted on this one. I wonder how many people that bought the game realised that the Dwarf was a model of the old White Dwarf illustration that used to appear on the cover of the magazine.

Thanks Tim, that was one of the reasons I originally bought the game waaaay back in the times of old...
Have just finished the Elementalist from the WoM set, hope to get some pics up tomorrow. It's a bit of a victory for me, as I have been fighting a migraine for the last couple of days, so to sit and paint for a while is a bonus.
Managed to get the Ogre Horde box as well from the same guy who sold me the WoM set.

First update here, the last two wizards from the Wizards of Morcar set, just need to paint up all the henchmen now............ Had to replace the staff top on the High Mage as it was missing, but I found something that fitted nicely.

Thanks guys. Not sure what to paint next, I still have the Orcs, and the Chaos Warriors(half done) from the main game to to, but feel like starting the henchmen from the WoM and the Ogres from OH. Just too many too paint, coz I'd also like to get some of the furniture done too.

Righto, an update at last, and quite a big one, so I'm not going to mess posting all the pictures here, the easiest thing to do is follow the link to my site and on the main page there's a link to my brand new Heroquest gallery, with pictures of all my painted pieces, the newest being the Orcs, Furniture, and some 'In Game shots'. www.battlehammercreations.comThanks Bruenor

Cheers I might have to invest in some of this stuff it looks cool. I take it you down load it and print it off yourself or can it be ordered in packs ready printed to assemble?

I downloaded the packs, and printed them off, it gets a bit heavy going on load yield cart's though. I think you can get pre printed pack, but only in the US, from what I've read. I bought the Chunky Dungeons, and the Caverns set. They go together really easily, as long as you have asharp knife and some strong paper glue.

Took a commission on recently to paint all the pieces from the main game, and have finished the Barbarian and Wizard to the guys specs. Also while doing them I've converted a couple for myself, the Barbarian now carrys the Battle Axe I have bought in the game, and stashes his Broadsword on his back. The Wizard now looks like he's using his staff to cast a spell, an has a couple of daggers to stop him being such a wimp. Commission pieces: My converted pieces: Pics ain't the best I know, but they give you the ideas, I was going for. Thanks Bruenor

Yeah, I set a price for each mini depending on how complex the paint job was going to be. Client paid half upfront so I could replace some of my paints and stuff.

Very nice work. The second paint job on the barbarian (the commission piece) has a very nice menacing look to him that I like. I really like the conversions that you did. Great work on all of them.
