I think it would be a good idea to have a thread and be able to post pictures of works that inspire us... I searched hard to find this one and I'd really like to share it with you...  Golden Daemon UK 2005... one of my favourite conversions... |

That's a fabulous mini. I have been inspired by many of the golden demon pieces and it is my hope I can knuckle down and get to this standard within the next couple of years. I don't think I could pin my inspiration on particular pieces, there are just too many out there!!

Another inspiration for me, one of the not so appreciated pieces of cmon that I truly like: High Elf Hero from marwin  Some gorgeous blending, in this Paladin of Justice (Ilyad) from ANAKRON:  One of my all time favourites, great artist and great fella... Nothing is ever unobtainable, it just depends on how much you want to put into a mini. But they are very inspiring. I will add some from my favourites list later.

That is simply gorgeous, the effort that it must have taken to get so smooth a look to the colours and yet the freehand just jumps out at you is phnomenal.

This is a great mini, unfortunate that it was disqualified for the imagery that GW did not think fit with their own. I for one think it deserved to stay in and win.
