Well I had to have a look just for the school boy titivation, these are the only minis from the Vorag range that I never liked and never bought though I have to say that these two are looking mighty fine. I was lucky to get the shaman which is the only one out of that range that I am missing aside from these of course and like I already said they were not to my taste. Still looking excellent so far that is a super skintone Mr 1001

I got the male shaman, but not the female one, they didn't have any left. Though there is one going on eBay though, but will probably go for more than I want to pay. I have enough Ilyad to last ages now! O and that's just one mini there Tim, from different angles. Sounds like you think it is both of them.

Well they arrived this morning, and I think you ordered the same day as me. They didn't send them via royal mail either, it was a private company whch you had to sign for, so little chance of them getting lost. You will probably have a nice surprise tomorrow morning at the door lol

Oohhh I hope so but that might just knock me off course with the scrunts lol. I'll be back there when I get paid to see if any of the others I wanted will still be available but if not no matter I have a very large pile of Ilyad now that I can fall back on when I need to paint something of quality.

Got the metallics done, the filigree was a pain, I had to go over it all carefully with mithril silver, then line it with black for contrast. Tim I don't know how you did Leonardis so well! But then you have a pair of inoculars hanging off your lugs My eye's are killing, then I take a rubbish photo which doesn't portray them well at all, and is at a bad angle. Plus I'm hoping once the fur is painted it will dumb them down a bit so the won't look so garish. Il get a better pic tomorrow after I have done some more work on her. The sword blade show the metaillcs the best in that photo.

Yes the filigree is hard. It doesn't look bad at al actually mate and bear in mind i have a feeling that she is quite a bit smaller than Leonidas. I have compared the Vorags that I have to him and there is a definite difference in overall size. Virago gave me the same problems with the banding around the armour on her arm. I have still to paint any more of them. This is looking far better than you are giving yourself credit for.

Yea same skin tone as Galadriel, but I mixed some VMC Chocolate brown into the red for the shading (Very dark brown, probably similar to graveyard earth)
Tim she is 36mm to eye level (but strecthed out aswell, the unjumping woman is 30mm to eye level) but very slim and fine. I have two hoplite figures (which probably arn't as big as Leonadis) and they are chunkier.
She is on her base now. I carefully cut her from the plastic base and mounted her on the proper base. Il take pics later on after a bit more painting.
*EDIT* Now after a sleep and resting my eyes, and seeing her in proper daylight, the metaillics are shining better than last night under lamp light, so thats good.

Painted the tabard, kept it dark brown (bestial, snakebite, Ivory) as the fur is going to be light (snakebite, ivory, white) Not the best pics (Theve washed the skin out a bit), but they do show the metals a bit better:
