Looking very nice at this early stage mate. This is a great old model one sadly I don't have but I would love to get either this one or the one that FW made of it.

WoW! Even at this stage it is looking excellent.. i like(a lot) your approach and style, gritty and realistic...as far as a mini can be 'realistic!!' I hope you keep developing in this direction, now it's time for a race;) <getting me shaman and brush out as we speak!> ps..Tim, you can still get this guy on mail order only through GW

The skin actually looks a little smoother in real life, so I'll try to take bether pictures tomorrow in the daylight.. My goal now is to be crowned the king of grittyness on WoM ps. the clothes is half done as we speak:)

I like what you have done with him so far. The skin looks nice and gritty, and the lip is just awesome But at the toenails, I would suggest going for a dark brown close to the skin, and then gradually go to a beige at the tips (hope that makes sense lol). Great work so far

Great work so far The nails is actually dark brown close to the skin, you just can't see it from that angle. Here is some more uppdate. Just bitz and bags and the stick left:) I know the robe appears to be very griny at the pictures, but it dosn't look that bad in real life. Here he is:

Yeah I can see it now, the nail looks alot better from this angle He's looking better and better, looking forward to see him finished. I really like the lip colour. What colours did you use?

great painting so far, the only gripe i have is that i feel the robes and skin are to close in the tones ( as they appear in the photo anyway ) but i cant fault the painting, very good

LOvin' it so far, what i feel it needs now is some contrast in the detailing, things like the stitching could be a string colour, light, and still be dirty (get the raw umber out!), and obviously that big bone could really be a feature if done in lighter hues than the rest. Xcellent.

The lip is catachan green higlighted up with elf flesh. Then glazed with imperial purple(old gw paint)and scorched brown. I think I used something like 3-4 thin glazes @ Rogue~~Trader; I dont think the skin and robe is that close in tones really, I think they blend toghether in the picture because of bad lightning and natrual shaddows.. @jnr; I haven't painted the stitching yet, think they will be light gray or beige. The staff is going to be light bone, and I'm planing green eyes on the small faces on the staff.I'm intending that to represent small warpstone chunks that is forced in the bone(if that makes sence) mabye there will be another update tonight:)

Perfect sense I would go with the beige for more harmony
