Right, another sculpt in progress. And since GW's beastmen always had the obvious lack of pigmen that's enough reason for me to make one . Starting off with a couple of early pics, all this was sculpted in one go (11PM to 2.30AM ;D). Then I've added the first level of detail on his right half (dunno' why I sculpt that way, I feel comfortable with it appearantly...) quite probably the left leg will be repositioned to overcome the falling-over factor. C&C very welcome /Terminus

The Dogs Danglies or should that be Boars Balls You've got a mighty talent, and to prove my naivity in sculpting, what's procreate? It is a relative newcomer to the putty scene. It is composed of white and black components and you mix it like greenstuff. I have played with it a bit and like it as much if not more than the greenstuff. It is much less sticky initially, which I prefer instead of waiting 15 -30 minutes for the greenstuff to cure. I have had better success with it for fur and the fine lines that I have made.

Wow man that is great! If that is only the first level of detail, I'm really looking forward to seeing the next.
I'm no sculpter but I know what I like and that I like!

FANTASTIC!!!! Absolutely fantastic!! Such detail, and what a pose, I hope you're doing more than one? If you want it cast, you ought to get in touch with Hasslefree miniatures, they do a thing called 'White Metal' where lesser known and folks who do the odd sculpt, can have their stuff cast and sold. Pro-Create can be bought from the Heresy website, here's alink: www.heresyminiatures.com/tools.htmJust scroll down until you find it.

Thanks, I was told about white metal earlier on chestofcolors, the problem is that I would have to sell him, and I have really few sculpts on the shelves atm, and most of those are quite old/unfinished . (I've put it in consideration though, I just have to sculpt something even better first ) That's where I got mine, don't think there's much alternative, doesn't matter though as they're great .

Tim has it spot on the money. Even at this early stage I'd love to get my hands on a cast! See two customers already.

Quite cool! I didn't know you could sculpt so well Obviously its on fantasy scale and proportions, though the raised arm looks a bit short and I think the skull on his belt could use a bit more detail. On the whole though very nice work! Excellent smooth finish. Why don't you put it up on frothers when its done and see how it does?

What will he be holding in his right hand? At the moment it looks like an ork krak grenade, I presume it is the base for an axe though?
Amazing job so far.
