Finally i am happy about photography and can while away the midnight hours taking pics  So now i can update WIP's prepare for a flood! This is a mini vignette i had on hold, it was a b-day gift from Curunir over a year ago but once i rebased it i got all enthusiastic, even though i hate horses. I am still trying to source photos of what is actually on Arwenssaddle, i've tried the movie and stills but to no avail and other minis are too obscure, so i'll paint the wraiths horse next... all help appreciated;  |

cant help you on the saddle, but that horse is very nice, could do with a bit more definition on some of the muscles?

Arwen's horse looks fantastic, I am with you on hating painting horses but I am looking forward to seeing this one finished.

Beautiful start on this little diorama. The horse is coming along splendidly. My only nitpick would be on the tail--perhaps some deeper shadows? It is probably more a function of the sculpt, though.

You could be right JW, i was using images from the movie and the tail ended quite light but it was loose fibres whereas this is a mass of pewter! so i think darker highlights are in order in the name of artistic license ... but... the sculpt is not the best on the tail, and given the pros and cons this is where i realise i'm not JRN!!!! I can't be bothered!! And this lovely little vignette wil be on my lovely little shelf for noone else but me!! my precioussss... (sometimes it's cool to be a selfish pig!) |

That diorama is comming along great Dennis:) I really like the smooth withe horse. But I think it would have been more realistic with some drit splatte on the horse legs... looking forward to see it done:)
