It looks good so far mate, I am going to sound very boring when I say that the shirt and the trousers need more definition. Now whether or not that is a highlight or two or a shade or two it is hard to tell. But it needs to pop more to make it a contender. Still a very solid start.

its good but the only thing for me is everything looks pale, if thats the look you were going for then great, but i would think more back shading all round mate to make it a contender

I agree with RT, a bit more shading over all should put you over the edge for the competition... just be sure to come back and reapply your highlights if you do decide to throw a few washes in there.

I am liking the freehand bit on the rag on his right hip. The blood looks pretty good, although I think having a bit of black-red would help to add some realism--I like the way Tim does his blood, have a look.
