I've been trying to find a good way of making snow on my bases, but I always seem to fail miserably. Can someone help me with that? I really want to be able to make snow bases for my Wolfen. Cheers, Wolf Fang

Some people I've seen talk about this mention using something called micro beads (or micro bubbles - not sure which). Most often, though, people seem to use just plain ol' baking soda; not baking powder. I use baking soda with some clear glitter mixed in to help give it a "sparkly" look. Of course, if you're just wanting some information on how to put them together, here are a couple of articles over at CMoN that deal with snow bases: A snow baseHow to make snow bases

this is a popular question on the net and the best way I have found is to mix baking soda into slightly thinned down PVA glue until you have a paste. then you can apply it as you wish, I use a small artists trowel for this. Once you have placed it as you like it then sprinkle over more baking soda, do this sparingly though. Then leave to dry. Once it has dried blow of the excess and there you should have a nice snowy effect. Hope that helps.

Baking soda or bicarbonate of soda can (usually) be picked up at any grocery store. I usually find it in the spice section.

I make my snow out of a Skull White 40%, PVA Glue 40% und GW Snow 20%, mixture. Add water to mix it. Apply it after the Mini is based and finished. And let it dry for about 1-3 hours.
