I thought i'd post some of the converted minatures i'm working on in a separate post to my painted stuff, since my painting skills are still a bit basic, so all you'll see in this one is undercoated conversions. The first two are pretty minor conversions. Firstly, my GW Librarian, made soley from bits of various GW plastic marine kits, i'm planning to sculpt a little plasma fire burning up from his right hand at some point. The next one is a sitting Death Korps guard figure that i took out of one of the vehicle kits and based up sitting on an ammo crate, a sort of sentry piece.

Very good looking stuff. I wouldn't know these were conversions without you telling!

Excellent, the death korps mini could be used in a great little vignette, well done

They arent really heavy conversions, the librarian is made from a collection of plastic marine bits from various sets, like the command squad, DA sets, and black templars to create a librarian look.
The Guard figure is taken from one of the vehicle sets you can get then mounted on its own on a FW ammo crate from a different set in a suitable pose.
I'll post some of the bigger conversions i'm working on at some point, converting stuff is the bit i enjoy most at the moment and the range of GW plastics lends itself well to messing with.
My Ork army is going to be my biggest conversion project, but i'm still gathering bits for that one.

Simple but effective conversions. I am sure they will look excellent when they are painted up. I love the DK sentry. very good idea that.
