Hi, I would like to intruduce myself...... Im MKM and from Germany, 14 years old and i have had quite bit of painting Experience.... Right now im painting a sigmar priest. It took me quite a while to finally reach this stage with nearly all metallics done and the mini nearly completed. On this mini its the first time I tried to use True metallics and weathering. I havent painted any of the sratches jet, and i will leave that to the end....... I hope you enjoy.......    Cherrs MKM PS: Im sorry for the crappy pics..... |

Willkammen (i have not spelt that right have I ?) zu World of mini  It looks pretty cool matey I like the reds, The armour looks very good too, but the pic is a bit dark in that area. Looking forward to see this progress //André |

Welcome to the forums, and this is a good opening post. This mini seems to be very popular at the moment. I like the red on the robes. As Razh has mentioned the pic is not the best to see the metals properly but from what I can see they look pretty decent.
I wish I had been painting as well at 14 yrs old.

Hello there!!!
Nice mini, from what I can see all the paintwork is superb, my only gripe is that I see loads and loads of these guys on the net and nearly all of them are red robed, I'd love to see some variation, maybe Blue robes like mine or even green or purple robes would be a nice change.
Doesn't change what is lokking to be a great mini by you tho!!!

Welcome aboard man. The pics look great, coming on to forums like this it always amazes me how good some people are! Hell i wish i could paint as well as that now, you've a good ten years on me.
Purple robes are not a bad idea Bruenor! A colour I don't think i've painted a lot of. Now just to get the mini!

Thank you for your replies...... Now im even more motivated to finsh this guy...... I know the red robe is lame, but I like painting red, so i just couldnt resist. I post better pics next time.

Nah, the red isn't lame, in fact it's very well painted, it's just overdone by too many painters.
