Hello Dark, looks very good so far. Tried to see the blue blob but it must be my old eyes. Sorry I can't advise you on the nnm still trying to work that one out for myself.
Look forward to seeing how this turns out

Nmm is something that I rarely use but I have found that gold can look great if you go for a Snakebite Leather with a touch of Chaos Black and then highlight up to pure Snakebite and then add white and take it as far as you want, also you can go from Snakebite through to Leprous Brown and then start adding white this gives a more yellowy gold. Both the Dwarves I have recently painted for my Lotr Dwarf army have used this on the banding on their cloaks. The standard bearer used the method with Leprous brown included and the the Captain the first method I mentioned. They are in my WIP if you want to take a look. Looking nice so far mate. Look forward to seeing more.

Nice start on this one, DM. I really like the transition on the cloak. The challenge with these is twofold--making a smooth transition first between colors (which you have done well), then the transition from shade to highlight. I think you could push the shading and highlights of the colors more extreme. Does that make sense? I have never done any NMM, so I'll hold off on any suggestions in that regard. The freehand on the flames is looking good. I might suggest a bit of darklining around the flames to get them to stand out a bit from the robe and just as with the cloak, try and shade and highlight the flames as you would normally. The banding on Tim's dwarves is a perfect example of this.
