Stunning mate, I may never paint my version now. I love the inquisitor range but to this day have only painted one maybe I might get another done sometime soon.

Thanx guys, i'm happy he's gone down well as he is my personal favourite to date, not so much for the painting but the way the sculpt allows you to paint. There is a lot of him but it is a lot of flowing lines and there is an opportunity to actually relax rather than holding your breathe for 20 seconds on every stroke.
I love the 54mm scale as I can adhere more to my ethos of realism, done on 28/30mm scale the subtlety of realism is lost, it looks flat, so you really need skill to make a 30mm look 'real', one of the reasons i like rituals work, or nano etc, but on this scale it's easier to achieve and i reckon i'll be trying a few more. There's no doubt the sculpt quality of the inquisitor range is excellent but i still have an andrea Ithrandir i've been saving 'til confident and he's gonna be on the worktop soon... watch this space

PUh! It was a wee while ago but i based it with GW Shadow grey mixed with a little (maybe 10%) GW Midnight blue and then enough Raw Umber to desaturate it,( i use 'Golden' Artists colours for my add mixes as it gives me so much more realism and colour range), Then i basically worked from shade to highlight with elf flesh!
The lips are a violet mix of GW Liche Purple & Midnight blue , hightlighted with dwarf flesh..
Hope this helps

It looks really good. I can't wait to see it IRL, and take home the gold ;D Btw, do you have some tips for painting 54 mm? As I will paint a convo of Eisenhorn for GG 2008 and I could use some tips

The most important thing i found with 54mm, especially large areas, ie cloaks, is to have a large bellied brush, don't use a miniature rated brush but a watercolour brush made for carrying a larger load... i've been using a series 7 size 2 on 54mm and sometimes i wish it was bigger. Another thing to is if you are still into the glaze medium it really helps! the cloak on the ranger is all done with golden glaze medium, but i had to wait 10 mins b4 each coat!! While wet you can highlight wet into wet easier on 54mm, yummy effect, lots less work Anything else i'll tip you at GW

Cheers Dennis, I'll remember that. I'll also buy some good artist colours and some series 7 brushes. Soon I'll move to Oslo and then it will be much easier to meet at GW, because the apartment is 5 mins from the store!
