Yes nice start, nothing to add at the moment, I have a couple of the old Ogryns somewhere and as I remember rightly the poses were a bit naff, about time these guys got an overhaul I think.

I really like the repose, and especially how you have sculpted the belly ;D
And the checks on the gurdmens shoulders are awesome!

Looking good, considering you are new to sculpting you certainly have a knack for it, I just can't get on with greenstuff myself other than gap filling.

to be fair these are just gap filling, with a tiny bit of sculpt, i found out if you mix 2or3 blue to 1 part yellow it is easier to work with, not as sticky and it still dries out rock hard if thats any use to you

also, can anyone tell me how to paint stubble properly please. thanks

If you look at my Empire standard bearer in my WIP thread he has stubble on his head and I did that by mixing Fortress Grey right down and painting it on in layers like a glaze building it up until it started to cover but just let the skin colour still show through, I then added a little Codex Grey in keeping it thin and added that on top keeping the lightest parts at the edges.

well, i have some rackham glaze, should i use that to thin it down or just water?

I have never used a glaze per se I usually thin paint right down and then apply that in a similar way, I would suggest a practice on something that doesn't matter if it goes wrong first.

ok, made a start on the third one, this is going to be my bone ed' so for this i thought i would give some actual sculpting ago, i'm going to be doing drastic things, this is just the start i made on it.....slow going. chopped the arm off ( broke 3 saw blades in the process ) put some wire in, and started sculpting the arm....

well it tokk me two go's to get that bit right, this is the first time i have done anything this drastic, before it has just been gap filling and what i have done on these ogryn's, all i did was make some green stuff balls about the right size, stick them in place on the wire and with my favourite greenstuff tool push and smooth them till they got the shape, i got all my tips from the gw website and some tutorials on cmon!!! i will keep putting it up as it goe's through the stages, its the hands i'm not looking forward to, the rest is alot of fun though!! ;D

If you are having problems with musculature you can probably find some good references from body building images/magazines.
