Pahhh... struggling to get decent pictures... I can't even get a picture to come out right! Awesome metallics mate, you should really write an article on how you achieve your high quality standard... oh, and you've won the competition, no question!

as the others have said: great job on the metallics! maybe a bit clean for an orc? (but the painting is still great!).
Cheers,

Great stuff Tim,
I haven't forgotten the running away man, but I think I've missed the last post for Xmas, with all these bloody work hours. Sodding retail at Xmas, but I'll still get him to you somehow, just might be after the 25th.

More work done to the mini but sadly I don't think it will be finished in time for the contest closing date. still it has been fun to do and will make a nice addtion to the display cabinet.

Pretty damn amazing mate!!!!!! ;D I know what you mean about not being finished in time, could you not extend the finish time?
I'm trying to do the 40K Nob, plus a commission which includes all of the minis and furniture from the original HQ game.

Thanks guys, I suppose I could extend the deadline but then that would appear like cheating wouldn't it, I mean the site administrator altering the rules so that he can get his entry in.

Well Tim what I as thinking is that if lots of people still wanted more time then we could extend it... however, if it is just you then it may seem a bit cheating yes...

The effect on the forearm is just creepy, it looks exactly like fresh blood on metal...scary good job, that must be quite an advanced technique.

This mini is just awesome, your metals are so enviable... but i don't like the flesh colour I would prefer a more earthy green for this model, but this is just a subjective thing.. R'n'R Tim
