also can you recomend any good online sculpting tutorials that cover normal sized people, ones with pictures ;D thanks I used the ebob tutorials when I started out. If you plan to use his armatures (getting a good skeleton is not as easy as it sounds and sounds and getting it right is 50% of the work) then he has a good step by step guide for new sculptors. ebobminiatures.com/sculpting/sculpting.htmIf you want to make your own theres less out there. You have to print out a picture of a scaled down skeleton and measure thin wire against it. I wrote a tutorial on paper clip wire a month or two ago, over here: www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=471I actually would not suggest paper clips for the long run as I've since then experimented with thinner wire and found it superior. But paper clips are a good way to start. On that website I've also published an article on cloth and armor techniques. The sculpting is not what it could be, but its likewise a good place to start and as far as I know the only place online where some of these techniques are shown: www.one-ring.co.uk/phpBB2/kb.php?mode=article&k=389Most of it is just trying something 10 times until you get it right. As you become more experienced with putty you will find that you can figure out most shapes with just a lot of practice. Oh, and this one is very good too: www.miez.nl/putty-n-paint/tutes/sculpting_tut01.pdfAlso GW has some good basic articles on putty techniques: uk.games-workshop.com/convershunklinic/green-stuff/1/
