Recently I have been reading a series of books called "The Edge Chronicles" and i've had the idea to sculpt some of the characters. So i will be sculpting the stone pilot on this cover: I'll post up my WIP here to show you how it's going.

Right, well heres the first WIP pic: I have discovered that doing layers of clothes is easier if you do all the layers, so i have done the (very) rough shape of trousers. Perhaps it was a mistake to do them at 11.50pm under the influence of coke. It doesn't really matter anyway, as you won't be able to see them when it's done. ;D I'm going to do the boots next, look out for more updates!

Not bad, not bad at all! I do recommend not doing sculpting late at night though, especially under the influence of Coke!

I will bear that in mind when I am sculpting the more important layers, I was feeling slightly lightheaded at the time, which may explain the unnatural trouser creases. I will get an update up very soon.

Heres a WIP practise head for the stone pilot. It is slightly bigger scale than the proper one will be: All I need to do is put the cloth and goggles on it. BTW Sorry about bad photo quality, I had to use a different camera than i usually use.

Well you might have to wait a day or two, greenstuff seems to dry very slowly for me. Thanks for the comment.

Well heres an update: The goggles need major modifying and finishing but for a practise i'd say it's turning out pretty well.
