Just had a pretty cool idea for a project but would like some help with it. I'm going to do a series of conversions, probably between 3-6 models based around a prominent fantasy artists work. My first piece will be Frank Frazetta's "Death Dealer" which will be a chaos champion/lord model. For another one I'm definately thinking some Boris and any others are up for suggestion. Links to pictures by the various artists that you think would make a good conversion would be appreciated - there are too many out there for me to decide by myself!!! link: www.die-einherjar.de/volume1/frank_frazetta_deathdealerI.jpg Cheers

Very cool idea....I liked Frazetta's work much more than Vallejo's. There are several Frazetta ones that would be ideal.

Care to share ideas on what ones then? I would prefer to do one per artist, but I may be persuaded to do another frazetta! I'm pretty stumped as I've posted this subject across a few forums and I'm disappointed that it hasn't had any feedback. Think of all those great pictures out there - too many for one individual to deal with I reckon and that's why I asked for some help. Are there no fantasy art fans reading this???!!!

That's uncanny yesterday I came across a website with lots of different artists interpretations of Drizzt! None of the pictures I looked at (and admittedly they were fairly small and I didn't look at all of them) quite grabbed me enough to turn them into a mini. But sure, find the link and I'll take a look.

A pic someone took of me when I was young. I think it depicts me well enough: and a nice page: link

I thought you might be joining the conversation at any moment! That was the link I was looking at yesterday!! I will have another browse through. The thing with doing a drizzt is, yes it should be recognisable and he has been drawn by well known artists but I havn't found a picture that is kind of "classic" and that will set him apart from the crowd of dark elves. I'll check it out again a bit later and make sure I'm not missing any good pic's. Cheers.
