I guess this is aimed more at us UK based members who do not often see the summer temparatures that we have seen lately. It has been bloody hot to say the least. I want to know how people are coping with it and if they are actually managing to get any painting done. I know it has seriously restricted my painting time and work has become a real pain in the neck because of it. It is looking like there may be an end to it his weekend with more normal temparatures forecast, I hope that this is true I for one do not like it too hot.

I'm livinin in Hamburg, that is also not exactly known of hot summers. I's just like you described: I don't think painting is possible (paint dries too quick, brush gets slippery in hand, etc) and I'm having serious problems at work... Today I don't think I have done anything useful...

We had a huge thunderstorm here last night in the early hours of the morning, now that usually freshens things up but no it just went right back to humid and sticky where even the smallest movement brings you out in a sweat.

The heat man! The heat! *Racssirt melts*
Well, not anymore, but it has been around
in Sheffield!
It has cooled down a lot recently, and seems to be going back to normal temperatures, for now...

It was very hot and muggy yesterday but I was on nights and it chucked it down with rain which was so refreshing, not so nice later when I was sat in wet clothing trying to dry out.
