My Current WIP's

hello,

I have taken some fast pics of my current WIP. They're pretty bad, as the metallics look smoother and a lot better IRL. But I have to do with it now. Metallics are close to finishing, her robe has only been basecoated and shaded a bit.



And scrappy just wanted to say Hi!




And another WIP:

a wolfen I'm working on.
The arm and chest/back is finished. Might have to do some extra final highlights later, when every part of the skin is completed.

They all look good Tomaz, the Wolfen is the best I think, the metals are cool on the Warmachine mini. You have achieved on the wolfen a lovely skintone, I am currently painting Varghar and am struggling to be honest but more on that later. Top nitch work mate.

I know you're not finished but IMHO the metallics need a bit more contrast, although they look good they could look Great....

Great work on the Wolfen, i've only done one and it took me ages... i found it difficult to know where to stop with the highlights and kept going back and forth.. larger models don't mean easier!! Love the skin colour, quite unique

I really like your style of painting. I cant seem to get that dark look with my minis. Keep it up.

I really like the bloodshot look of the Wolfen eyes. The arm lac is a good touch.

hehe thanx everyone. the wolfen is put on hold for a couple of days. I found another moldline running over and in the chain wrapped around his hand. (Damn you rackham!!) I can't get myself to cleaning it yet.

I have an update on the old witch. Just some quick pics of the cape in progresss. But I really really dislike her. The painted parts aren't turning out how I hoped they would. I hope I can pull it up a bit.

I got a commision that I need to have finished by next tuesday. And I took some quick snaps. It's the khadoran butcher and I need to paint and base it like my old witch (I took the witch to the local shop for a game)

the butcher isn't going to fit that dude's army, but I can't be bothered. It's a nice way to test out my current colorscheme for my army.







Metallics are done. The spikes and dots on his shoulders are getting other colors. the red stuff isn't finished yet.

The model itself is great, and great to paint too. It's still one of my favourites in the Privateer line.

Nice mini, Tomaz. The witch's cape is really nice, I would probably try to highlight the faces on it a bit more, maybe with some slightly different shade to give a mystical touch.
The butchers axe seems to be bent a bit.
